[Fairy Tales] The Frog King - Der Froschkönig

Meine Lieben,
es ist wieder soweit, es gibt Neues aus dem Märchenwald - auf die Nägel.;)

Für alle, die ihren Märchenprinzen noch suchen, können heute ein grünes Froschkönigdesign entdecken.

Auf dem Mittelfinger ist der den Mund spitzende Frosch zu sehen und auf dem Ringfinger der untere Gesichtsteil der Prinzessin.

Ich hoffe euch gefällt der dritte Teil der Serie ein wenig. Mein Tip: Wenn man die Details mit Acrylfarbe vorsichtig aufmalt, dann sieht es filigraner aus als meine Nagellackmalversuche.

Hey my nail polish addicted lovlies,
time to continue the fairy tale series today.

If you're still looking for Prince Charming this is a green Frog Prince design for you.

On the middle finger you can see the frog pursing its lips and on the ring finger you can guess the princess doing the same thing with disgust.

I hope you like the 3rd part of the series a bit. My suggestion: You can achieve a more detailled result using acrylic colours and not ordinary nail polish like I did.

[Fairy Tales] Red Riding Hood/ Rotkäppchen

Meine Lieben,

als nächstes werden wir uns dem Rotkäppchen zu wenden.

Ich hoffe man erkennt den Wolf auf dem Daumen und dem Ringfinger. Auf die übrigen Nägel habe ich ein rot-weißes Miederfrench gemalt. Rotkäppchen hat ja meistens so etwas Dirndlmäßiges an. ; )

Anleitung:
Das weiße French wurde als Grundlage auf Zeige-,Mittel- und kleiner Finger aufgetragen. Später habe ich dann mit Rot das Mieder draufgemalt, die Löcher aufgetupft und zum Schluss noch einmal in Rot die Schnürung ergänzen. Es ist wichtig, das der rote Nagellack flüssig genug dafür ist!

Daumen und Ringfinger haben eine schwarze Komplettlackierung bekommen. Die angedeuteten Zähne sind einfach mit der Pinselspitze seitlich aufgetupft.(Hoffentlich könnt ihr euch was darunter vorstellen?!) Die Augen solltet ihr mandelförmig in weiß grundieren und dann mit gelb ausmalen, wie beim Apfel der bösen Königin. Wenn das Weiße und dann auch noch das Gelbe des Auges trocken sind, malt einen schwarzen Strich als Pupille. Zum Schluss bekommt der Wolf noch eine dunkelbraune Nase.

Mit Topcoat alles versiegeln und dann könnt ihr euch auch schon zu eurer Oma  aufmachen. ^^

PS: Es tut mir leid, wenn es etwas unordentlich aussieht, aber ich habe es als Rechtshänder mal mit links malend an der rechten Hand versucht.

My Lovelies!

Now it's the turn of Red Riding Hood. Down below that is the wolf and the french should represent the girl's corsage like dress.

Method:
I started with a white french on pointy, middle and pinky. Then I added the red corsage sides. I let it dry and then dotted on the holes. Last but not least I connected the black dotts with an x of liquid red polish. If you choose a polish which is too thick the lines will turn out messy.

The thumb and ring finger got an full cover paint of black polish. I striped on the white teeth and prepared the eyes with a almond shape of white polish. After that I painted in the eyes with yellow polish and later I drew some black pupils. I added a dark brown nose for our poor monster. ;)

Finish with a topcoat - of course - and then head off to your granny. ^^

PS: My apologies if someone thinks it looks a bit messy. I tried to draw with my left hand but I am righthanded! :)

Meine lieben Nagellackverrückten,

ich habe meiner Schwester ein paar YouTube-Videos gezeigt, weil sie nicht glaube konnte, dass es reine Nail Art-Kanäle gibt. Auch das "Seal Nailart Tutorial" von Renie Rainyday war dabei. Ja, und dann kam die Wette. Ich sollte zeigen, dass ich das auch bringe und so habe ich mich dann dran gewagt.

Das ist dabei herausgekommen:
Na ja, es ist natürlich lange nicht so filigran, aber wer übt, der wird auch besser. ; ) Und ich musste feststellen, dass meine Nägel ziemlich schmal sind zum Draufmalen. -.-

My dear nail polish freaks,

I showed some nail art videos to my sister. She wouldn't believe that there are pure nail art canals on YouTube. We watched some of Renie Rainyday's videos. That is when we started a bet: I should recreate the "Seal Nailart Tutorial" design. You can see how it turned out.

Well, it is not that detailed and filigree, but you have to practise to get better. ; ) And I'd realized that my nails are pretty narrow to draw on. -.-
