Mint-ish Cameo Mani

Meine Lieben,

Heute war ich mal wieder im Nagelstudio um mir nach 4 Wochen die Naturnagelmodellage auffüllen zu lassen. Weil die Nägel danach schön ordentlich, aber zugleich recht langweilig aussahen, habe ich gleich nach dem ich nach Hause kam ein Nageldesign gezaubert. ;)

Ich liebe die elegant aussehenden Kamee-Reliefs und zudem ist altrosa einer meiner Farbfavoriten, also habe ich beides kombiniert und folgendes kam dabei raus:

Leider sieht man im Bild das Kamee nicht so gut. : '(

Ziemlich Mintgrün trotz der großen "Altrosa-Ansage". Na ja, der mintgrüne Nagellack ist einer der gefühlten 100 Nagellacke, die ich in der Weihnachtszeit entweder gekauft oder geschenkt bekommen habe. Deswegen musste ich ihn auch einmal ausprobieren. ;)

Anleitung:
Außer den Ringfinger habe ich alle Nägel mit dem Mintrgrün lackiert.(Catrice - 240 Sold Out For Ever) Nachdem sie getrocknet waren habe ich einen Glitzernagellack als Topper drübergemacht.(Rival de Loop LE Glööckler - 01 Glitter Dream)

Das leicht aufwändigere Design habe ich für den Ringfinger reserviert: Erstmal das angekündigte Altrosa lackieren.(Manhattan lotus effect - 160 →ziemlich alter Lack aus meiner Sammlung, aber die Farbnuance ist einfach umwerfend) Danach habe ich einen Kamee-Nagelsticker, den ich bei T€di gefunden und erstanden habe, ungefähr mittig auf dem Nagel leicht angedrückt. Als letztes habe ich mit den Pailletten aus den Nail Art Kits der aktuellen Essence Vintage LE noch einen Rahmen drumherum dekoriert. Sie ist ganz frisch, also ab in den Laden, wenn der Glitter euch gefällt. ; )

Zum Schluss noch wie immer mit dem Topcoat alle Nägel versiegeln. Der p2 glamorous finish nail art top coat geht dazu ganz gut.

Hoffentlich hat euch das Design gefallen. Ich war erstaunt, wie gut es geworden ist. ^^

Hey my Lovelies,

Today I went to the salon and got a refill. Since the nails looked nice but boring I decided to do a manicure right after I got home. ^^

I really love the elegant cameos and I totally fall for dusky pink. So I combined the two favorites and above you can see what I came up with. Pretty mint green for the "dusky pink- announcement", isn't it?xD Yes, the green polish is one of the huge amoung of polishes I bought or received as a present during Christmastime. So I had to try it out, too.

Method:
For the most part I painted the nails with the mint colour (Catrice - 240 Sold Out For Ever). After it had dried I went over with a glitter polish (Rival de Loop LE Glööckler - 01 Glitter Dream). As usual: If you don't live in an area where you can buy these just take similar ones you can find in your collection.

The pic doesn't show the cameo so well. -.-

The special design is for the ring finger. I painted it/them in dusky pink (Manhattan lotus effect - 160 → quite an old polish of mine but I like the colour shade a lot) and let it dry. Then it was time to choose a beautiful cameo nail sticker. Press it down gently so it is well-linked to the polish surface. Then use some nail sequins to create a glittery frame for the cameo. The nail art kits I bought recently from the essence vintage district LE came in quite handy. It's their latest LE so if you like the design or the sequins there is a big chance to buy these little "treats" any time soon.

Of course finish of with a nail art approved top coat. (I used p2 glamorous finish nail art top coat.)

[Fairy Tales] Red Riding Hood/ Rotkäppchen

Meine Lieben,

als nächstes werden wir uns dem Rotkäppchen zu wenden.

Ich hoffe man erkennt den Wolf auf dem Daumen und dem Ringfinger. Auf die übrigen Nägel habe ich ein rot-weißes Miederfrench gemalt. Rotkäppchen hat ja meistens so etwas Dirndlmäßiges an. ; )

Anleitung:
Das weiße French wurde als Grundlage auf Zeige-,Mittel- und kleiner Finger aufgetragen. Später habe ich dann mit Rot das Mieder draufgemalt, die Löcher aufgetupft und zum Schluss noch einmal in Rot die Schnürung ergänzen. Es ist wichtig, das der rote Nagellack flüssig genug dafür ist!

Daumen und Ringfinger haben eine schwarze Komplettlackierung bekommen. Die angedeuteten Zähne sind einfach mit der Pinselspitze seitlich aufgetupft.(Hoffentlich könnt ihr euch was darunter vorstellen?!) Die Augen solltet ihr mandelförmig in weiß grundieren und dann mit gelb ausmalen, wie beim Apfel der bösen Königin. Wenn das Weiße und dann auch noch das Gelbe des Auges trocken sind, malt einen schwarzen Strich als Pupille. Zum Schluss bekommt der Wolf noch eine dunkelbraune Nase.

Mit Topcoat alles versiegeln und dann könnt ihr euch auch schon zu eurer Oma  aufmachen. ^^

PS: Es tut mir leid, wenn es etwas unordentlich aussieht, aber ich habe es als Rechtshänder mal mit links malend an der rechten Hand versucht.

My Lovelies!

Now it's the turn of Red Riding Hood. Down below that is the wolf and the french should represent the girl's corsage like dress.

Method:
I started with a white french on pointy, middle and pinky. Then I added the red corsage sides. I let it dry and then dotted on the holes. Last but not least I connected the black dotts with an x of liquid red polish. If you choose a polish which is too thick the lines will turn out messy.

The thumb and ring finger got an full cover paint of black polish. I striped on the white teeth and prepared the eyes with a almond shape of white polish. After that I painted in the eyes with yellow polish and later I drew some black pupils. I added a dark brown nose for our poor monster. ;)

Finish with a topcoat - of course - and then head off to your granny. ^^

New Year - New Series: [Fairy Tales] Wicked Stepmother/ Böse Stiefmutter

Meine Lieben,
erstmal wünsche ich euch ein schönes neues Jahr. Weihnachtszeit ist Märchenzeit und ich liiiebe Märchen! (Außerdem habe ich zu viel "Once upon a time" geschaut!xD) Deshalb habe ich mir überlegt ein paar Märchen inspirierte Maniküren zu gestalten.

Als erstes habe ich zu einem Nagellack aus der Essence Snow White LE gegriffen und mir dazu ein Design überlegt. Es soll die böse Stiefmutter repräsentieren...* räusper* Denn der Nagellack trägt auch eben diesen Namen. (Essence Snow White LE - 01 Evil Queen)

Anleitung:
Auf Daumen und Ringfinger ist komplett ein violetter Metallicnagellack aufgetragen. Danach habe ich in Gold ein Ornament auf den gesamten Nagel gestampt.

Auf den übrigen Nägeln wird mit dem gleichen violetten Lack ein schräges French aufgetragen und dann ebenso in Gold drüber gestampt. Die Kante habe ich mit einen goldenen Streifen abgeschlossen. Zum Schluss wird der Essence-Evil-Queen-Lack (Lila Hexagon-Pailletten) auf die goldene Linie angeordnet.

Als allerletztes habe ich noch einen Apfel auf Ringfinger und Daumen gemalt. Damit die Farben besser rauskommen, habe ich die Form mit weißem Nagellack vorgrundiert.
Topcoat nicht vergessen, damit es länger hält.
Dann war es auch schon fertig. ^^

Ich hoffe, euch hat das erste Design gefallen. Der Apfel sieht ein bisschen verloren aus... Egal! ; P

My Lovelies!

Happy New Year to all of you! I came up with a new idea:With this post starts a serie. I got inspired by the fact that christmas time is fairy tale time and that is why there are so many fairy tale films on TV you can't ignore. ; ) Besides I watched a lot of "Once upon a time"(Love the ideas how they connected the different stories and characters!!). That is why I thought of some manicures one could do.

First I remembered a polish I bought from the Essence Snow White LE, it is with violet hexagon sequins. So the design was going to be in violet. For a queens design there had to be gold too and some decorative swirl patterns or something. ;) You can see with what I came up.

Method:
On thumb and ring finger I painted a violet metallic polish. Then I stamped an ornament (Choose what you like and consider to look royal!^^ ) over it. I chose gold for it and used the Konad stamping plate m... just because of my lack of plates I have at my parent's.→The only thing why holidays can be not so nice - not having enough variety for a new design. ^^


Meanwhile you make a diagonal french line with the same violet polish on the remaining fingers. Stamp the golden ornament just over the violet part. Edge the french with a golden line. After it is dry arrange the Essence 01 Evil Queen seguin polish on it. You are finished with the french fingers.;)



Finally you go back to thumb and ring finger: Prepare the apple by drawing a similar shape in white polish. Let it dry and paint in with the typical apple colours. :)

Of course "secure" everything with a top coat and then you are done.

Hopefully you liked the first fairy tale design. Maybe the apple looks a bit lost...?! Anyways!^^
